Customer: Yes the menu works. I have tried everything
JA: How long has this been an issue with your 40BJ5K? What happened right before this?
Customer: Only had TV for one week

On the TV go to Settings, then Quick Settings and you see the option to turn on subtitles there.

There is no facility for subtitles just language
Customer: replied 2 day ago.
No thank you I will just not be able to hear due to the poor sound on TV

When you go to quick settings, you did not see subtitles there?

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
Sorry I did not complete! Completely fed up with technology. No there was not a facility for subtitles. Presume no facilities which for a new, modern TV is not good!
Customer: replied 2 day ago.
Already read page 18. Tried but nothing

There is nothing there that says language, you are looking at something else, but we will try another way

Whats connecting to the V for a signal? eg: Skybox

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
Where do I find that?

What do you connect the TV to for a signal? A Sky box? Antenna? You see it connected to the TV with a cable.

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
It is a cable

To what please? Which device

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
We have an aerial not a sky dish

If it is via Arial and you have no option as per my instructions to turn on subtitles it means it will no be possible for this sorry.
