Following an update on my iphone I have been unable to access it and only receiving incoming calls. I entered the password ***** answered 2 security questions and then I was told to verify the email address with my Apple ID to turn on two-factor authentification. An email with a verification code would then be sent to***@******.***. This is the email address I was provided with by Apple and is not my usual email which is***@******.***. I have tried to access the email address provided by Apple but this has not been recognised.

JA: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?
Customer: No

We need to reset your Password ***** your Apple ID Please do this

Open the web browser and go to appleid.apple.com.
Click 'Reset your password'.
Enter your Apple ID and click Next.
Choose Email authentication or Answer Security Questions and click Next.
Click Reset Password ***** the email, or enter the security questions.
