JA: Hi. How can I help?
Customer: I didn't realise that if I deleted duplicate emails in All Mail, that all my folders, under my email In Box, would be emptied - I have lost years of records
JA: Have you checked for the lost email in your Trash and Spam folders?
Customer: Yes all empty
JA: What email provider are you using (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)?
Customer: Gmail
JA: Have you checked for your email under the All Mail tab?
Customer: Yes, they emptied 3 days ago, all I have in All Mail is emails received since then
JA: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I am not very proficient in IT, and am 75 years old so not as quick with my responses as someone younger

In your email account locate the folder called deleted please.

You should see your deleted emails there, select these then drag them back to your inbox.
