I can't get to check Apple ID and password for my new iPad,

JA: What kind of Apple device do you have? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: MacBook Big Sur OS and a new iPad
JA: How long has this been going on with your iPad? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I used what I thought was my ID (email address) and password(s) and got disabled, Went to Apple Shop and they reset but did not show me how to enter new ID or password. Feeling very lost
