my hotmail account rejects a lot of emails. I am waiting for an email from the home office for visas for a Ukrainian mother and her 2 daughters. The home office says its my spam rejecting the emails and they refuse to send visas to another email address. The family have been waiting over 6 weeks for the visas and are desperate. I need to change my settings so emails are let through. this is so important. I have added the addresses to safe senders but it still won't work

Customer: I have an apple phone and apple computer

Customer: sorry I am terrible with computers, what do you mean by trouble shooting

If you login directly at hotmail.com does the account work correctly?

if someone tries to email me and it doesn't work if I then email them they can then reply to my email and it will get through

I didn't know if it was another Hotmail account or Gmail they were sending from.

the one I am struggling with at the moment is gov.uk and parliament.uk

Ok, have you whitelisted those email addresses to allow them to go through?

under safe senders and domain but the parliament.uk email tried after I did it and it still didn't work

I went to settings, then clicked on junk mail and then scrolled down to safe senders and domains and added the email addresses

Have you checked your block sender list to see if those emails are there?

they have tried 3 times and all three times they have bound back

You can try and connected to a VPN and then ask them to try.

If your ISP is blocking emails then that would get around it.

My concern is that even if I log on from my husbands computer the emails are not there. So if I download nordvpn, how will that change anything with Hotmail?

I dont know. He just uses my logon details and goes onto outlook website to log on. Surely the VPN would only change my computer rather than hotmail itself
