How do I sign into my tablet using the alphabet and not numbers
JA: What's the model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Liberty tab G100. About 6 years but little used.
JA: What have you tried so far with your Android device?
Customer: I tried pressing the power off button with volume up. I manage to get into my screen saver which comes up with numbers and letters on the numbers I don't have a pin number for it
JA: Anything else you want the Android Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no I really just want to get in.

I'm sorry you are having trouble recovering your Gmail account. There are only a few limited ways Google allows you to recover it. One way is with their password ***** You enter the information you have and it will send you a recovery code to your phone or email. That tool is in the link below.

If that fails the only other step is to fill out a recovery form and have Google support review it and then they will contact you back. This process does take 5 to 10 days. Here is the link to fill out the form.

If both of those options fail, then creating a new account is the only option. You can go here to create a new user name with a new password.
