Re portable DVD PLAYER....Panasonic DVD-LS84, 5 years old. Will not charge. Can I replace the batteries or do I need a new battery unit?
Hello and sorry you're having problems. Offhand 5 years is right at the time the internal rechargeable battery would fail and need to be replaced. This is very common with these portable DVD units. You would need to purchase the replacement battery at the link below and replace the one that's in the player currently: Additionally, if you have not done this yet (which I was assuming you did based on inquiring about a new battery), then I would first purchase the power supply/charger since it is much less money than the battery: If you need further assistance let me know. Please do not forget to click a POSITIVE RATING before you go- as it's how I am credited for my work. You can follow up at any time, at no additional cost.

Amazon still cannot deliver this!
They are ALL UK Amazon sellers!
That is the Amazon UK site.

You imply I presume that Amazon must be able to supply this part. On the other hand they have refused this particular order as the item is perhaps imported. I do not understand and I cannot move forward. There's obviously nothing further to be done...regards, Gordon
I do not understand- are you able to click on the SECOND link I posted? The second link is to Amazon UK- NOT the first link I posted which was not Amazon UK. The second link has MULTIPLE SELLERS all located IN the UK- that are selling that battery. I would suggest taking another look specifically at the 2nd (not the 1st) link I posted. I will post it again:
