My Kindle has frozen on a list of search titles.Pressing the restart buttonn has no effect
JA: When did you last charge your Kindle?
Customer: Last night and it is showing fully charged
JA: Have you tried a force reboot (pressing and holding the power button for a minute)?
Customer: Yes - the green light flickers on and off
JA: Anything else you want the E-Reader Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have had the Kindle six years - is it old age?

Problem could be the software has gone very bad or it has developed a hardware issue however please try this exactly as described>>

Could you please RESET the kindle by holding down the on/off switch for 40 seconds (use a watch to time)then release your finger the kindle will reboot and reload the operating system back to the home page, you may need to do this both on and off the charger and upto 4 times before it resets, let me know how this works out please
