My Kindle fire doesn't swipe to unlock Hello, my Kindle Fire wont swipe to unlock. Can you help please.
JA: Just to clarify, what device or product are you trying to access?
Customer: Kindle
JA: How long have you had your Kindle?
Customer: about 2 to 3 years
JA: What have you tried so far with your Amazon product?
Customer: Nothing, just swiping. It is fully charged.
JA: Anything else you want the Electronics Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No. It stopped all of a sudden. I had used it 10 minutes before and it was working.

I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your reader. I know that can be frustrating. Hopefully, we can get this resolved quickly.

This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.

Remove the charger from the Reader and hold the power button to off for 60 seconds.

Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Reader and use it.
