i suffer from psoriasis, but in past two months it has got worse, just before my peroid. why? can spicey food effect skin

dermdoc19 : Spicy food can affect the skin in such conditions as Roasavea but is not known to be a problem with psoriasis. Most Ted we do not know what flares psoriasis, but such things as a bacterial infection or a yeast infection can exacerbate psoriasis. Lack of sunlight, also, since light tends to hold back the manifestations of psoriasis. Stress plays a role too though it is hard to gauge since we all undergo some degree of stress. Trauma can also play a factor. Even rubbing.
dermdoc19 : As far as diet. Fish with Omega 3 fatty acids. Such as salmon help. Losing weight definitely helps.
