I broke our in guttate psoriasis about ten days ago. I have no history with psoriasis or guttate, but my brother has had it once before. I am female age 29, almost 30
was exposed to strep throat
tested negative for rapid strep
on day 9 of 10 day antibiotic, amoxiciilin
How can I manage this and make it go away faster - what should I expect?

This is Dr. David

you should be checked for strep throat and strep bacterial infection which can cause guttate psoriasis.

you may need to go on a course of antibiotics just in case.

you should see a doctor at the ER or urgent care center.
