If that’s okay
Assistant: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: No medication
Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Don’t think so

Hello. I'm Dr Chip
What's your question please?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I’ve recently came out in a rash and looking for a dermatologist opinion

Can you please post a photo of that for me on this page?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Have you received

Got them--hold on please

Does that itch?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
Mildly and occasionally
Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It’s also rather scaly

Have you ever had this before?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

It's obviously an allergic reaction to something--sometimes new soaps, detergents, foods, etc

But many times the trigger can't be determined

For now you can try over the counter hydrocortisone cream and Caladryl lotion both applied twice a day and oral Claritin or Zyrtec taken once a day for a week

That should clear it up, but, if not, you'll need a course of oral prednisone from your doctor

Please let me know if you need any more information

Thanks for your opinion. I’ve never been or had an allergic reaction before. This rash has been described as pityriasis , would you not agree?
Customer: replied 11 months ago.

No--it doesn't look at all like pityriasis rosea

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
The scales are more visible now my skin has dried.

Got it--thanks

But that simply isn't pityriasis rosea
