Nothing serious there

It's called tinea versicolor and it's a fairly common fungal skin infection

Nothing to do with hygiene and no specific trigger for it

You can use an over the counter antifungal cream like this

To clear it up. I know that says athlete's foot but it's for anywhere on the body

Applying it twice a day for two weeks will clear this up
