Customer Question

I have a small area on my hand that hasn’t healed since February. It’s red with flakiness and doesn’t hurt or itch but I’m concerned because it’s not going away
JA: How long have you had the symptoms? What seems to make the symptoms worse or better?
Customer: since February 2020 so 4 months. Nothing makes it better or worse
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

How it started?

What have you used to treat it so far?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I’m not sure how it started and I’ve not used anything to treat it
Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 1 year ago.

Is it itchy or painful?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No not itchy or painful
Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 1 year ago.

Thanks for the details

You should apply some emollient like Vaseline and 1% Hydrocortisone cream over it

This seems like a small scab and it will get better in a few weeks

If still no improvement then you will need to see a dermatologist as laser therapy can be helpful
