New moles are not uncommon.

Many people continue to develop new moles after the age of 40.

But there are some areas of concern.

In your case, I see two areas of concern - it is quite large, larger than 1 cm in diameter, and the boundaries are irregular.

Both of these require a doctor's examination.

In addition you say there is change in pigmentation.

You must have this looked up ASAP.

It is probably quite normal but you must have this looked up.

This is an area of concern.

Take care - wish you good health and a quick recovery. Stay safe.

I hope my answer has helped you gain more knowledge and confidence about your problem and helped you in knowing what to discuss with your doctor if required.
