Is very hard it feels quite round and big inside is not very mobile I cannot move in lots it feels like is having rooting into the skin

No I think because I have slept on the side

Usually is not very inflated, has kept is size for a few months it gets very irritated if I touch it or sleep on that side

Alright. The could be a cyst down there and you can get it examined physically once just to be sure. If it's really bothering you then you may ask the doctor to get it removed/excised. Try not to touch it as it can get inflammed and infected.
