In the past few days I’ve noticed that my scalp feels itchy

Customer Question

Hey in the past few days I’ve noticed that my scalp feels itchy and occasionally will have a burning sensation, it’s making me worry a lot as it’s on the crown on my head and my crown could be potentially thinning
JA: How long have you been dealing with this? Does anything in particular seem to make the itch better or worse?
Customer: I’ve been worrying about hair loss over the past month although not as of yet seen any proper evidence of hair loss but the itch and burning sensation has come around over the past three days
JA: Is there anything else the Doctor should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.

Just an will feel itchy and occasionally a burning sensation

I’ve read that it could be stress related
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 12 days ago.

It can be stress related or seasonal allergy related.

You can try an antihistamine Cetrizine 10 mg daily.

And apply selsun blue shampoo 3 times weekly.

Would this also be a reason as to why I think my crown is thinning?
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 12 days ago.

That can be due to male pattern baldness.
