Since some months ago I’ve been having pimples on my chin

Hi, since some months ago I’ve been having pimples on my chin and, no matter what I try, it seems like I can’t get rid of them I have never suffered of acne and never had a severe pimples problem, not even as a teenager
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: I haven’t seen anyone yet and I am not taking any kind of medication. That is why I’m getting a bit concerned, because I cannot understand what this is due to

What have you tried for the pimples so far?

I am female, 24 y.o.
I have tried essential tea tree oil, blemishing stick with tea tree oil and witch hazel and tea tree oil & witch hazel gel

Thanks. So unfortunately acne can have an effect any time. And I suggest this is what has caused the spots. It doesn't mean that it will be widespread though and certainly a hormonal element to it.

Initially I would use something like Benzoyl Peroxide to dry them out and break the cycle. If that doesn't make much difference I would add in a topical retinoid to apply at night. The Peroxide is widely available but the Retinoids you can get from companies such as Medik8 and La Roche.

If it continues despite this you can add in a topical antibiotic.

Yes, it is often a gel.

Face wash, yes, but it doesn't matter which one. Clinique have some good clearning products.
