This is likely benign macule patch --not any melanoma or cancerous.
Since no significant change over time, that also suggests the harmlessness.
That only suggests the possibility of seborrheic dermatitis.
You need to use topical steroid ointment --prescription Clobetasol propionate ointment 0.05% twice daily for 2 weeks will be better.
But needs prescription from your doctor.
Over the counter Hydrocortisone 1% ointment can be tried meanwhile 3 times daily for 10 days.
Please use Petrolatum jelly twice daily to prevent dryness.
