this stops at my elbow
Expert:  DermDoc replied 15 days ago.

Sorry for the late reply and inconvenience.

Thanks for all this additional information.

I understand your concern.

And it’s my first privilege to pay attention and provide you with suggestions to relieve your discomfort/ worry.

Well as you describe, it sounds like eczema.

I would suggest mixing 1% Cortizone ointment with Bacitracin ointment in a 1:1 ratio and applying this mixture twice a day on the affected areas for 2 weeks.

In addition, use an Eczema relief moisturizer every few hours to keep the hands well moisturized.

Aveeno Dermexa, Uriage Xemose Lipid-Replenishing cream, Cetaphil Restoraderm lotion, or Avene Trixera cream are good brands. Finally use a mild soap or soap-free wash to bathe and wash your hands.

Your blood sugar levels should be checked.

Tab Claritin 10 mg is taken once in the morning and night.

You should see your dermatologist.

Hope I have been able to clarify the situation for you and helped in resolving your query.

Let me know if you have any further queries so we can discuss it thoroughly in every aspect.

It’s my pleasure to continue this conversation until you satisfy.

Waiting for your response.

Thanks.
