Dear Customer: Greetings, this is Dr. Basu, experienced Medical Specialist and former attending physician of Harvard Medical School. I am board-certified with many years of experience. I did review your inquiry and I am hoping to give you at least some high-quality guidance here.
Please give me some time to review your concerns. Please be patient with me as I am on and off the computer so responses can be delayed at times, but I will be glad to help.
Please post a pic of the concerned area to provide you with precise diagnosis and treatment plan.
How long you have these two moles?
Thanks for replying again.
How long you noticed it?
Any change in size and color?
Did you irritate the area any way?
How old are you?
Do you have any history of skin cancer?
Any prior history of mole removal?
Any family history of skin cancer?
Do you have any other moles in the body?
Is there any change in color?
Which part of body this is located?
Did you have any skin check by a dermatologist in the past?
Do you get lot of sun exposure on left arm?
Thanks again for clarification.
Although there may be some change over time, the color, margin and shape of the lesion still look regular.
There is no sign of lot of continuous bleeding, no firm nodularity or raised appearance.
There is no profound darkening of the mole with different colored spots in between either.
Since no prior history of any skin cancer, that also makes it low risk.
So chances of being melanoma or a cancerous mole is low here.
However, you should see a local dermatologist for proper evaluation to confirm-- not urgent.
Thanks for closer pic --itching or scratching can make it bleed more --please refrain from it.
I still think it looks benign but this cannot be confirmed online without closer exam with dermoscopy and then biopsy if needed.
