What is most likely is that your ccd sensor is the issue.

You mentioned that the photos are pink and look runny. Have you downloaded the images to your computer? If you have and the photos look the same, then what has happened is your ccd sensor has failed. The ccd sensor is what converts light into electrons which in turn is what the camera uses to create your image. The sensor needs to be replaced in a repair shop.
