What version of Mac OS is on the computer?
If your not sure click on the apple menu, and then about this mac it should be something like 10.8 for example.

The Mac OS version is MacBook Pro. OSX version 10.9
.
Unfortunately your printer is not compatible with OS 10.9 which means you will not be able to install it.
If you would like me to I would be happy to help you find a machine that is compatible.
There is no way to install this printer on the MacBook unfortunately.
