Hi, I have a Canon EOS 500D. I've used it loads in the past for video and it's been great. I'm using the same 16GB card, which I've reformatted, but for some reason it will now only let me video for about 10 seconds, then it says BUSY, and stops! As I say, I used to video for a few minutes no problem, with this card and camera, and I just reformatted the card to try to solve it that way, but no joy...

Desperate to fix today as holiday tomorrow! Can you help?

It really sounds like the card has faulted. You can format it still, but it can have issues writing to it when you try to record (which is why it stops and gives the busy signal).

Are you able to put in a different card so we can confirm this please?

Thank you

Hi - yes - you're right!

It is usually the cause of the problem Rachel!

Use a new card and you will be alright.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.
