have a canon EOS 1000D, I have not used my camra for some time,I am going on holiday next Saturday, thought I would check my camra/battery,but every time I try and take a picture up come the words CARD WRITE PROTECTED how can I turn this off,as I do not remember putting a code into the camra, please how can I remove this, best regards ***** *****
Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem. Remove the card from the camera and look at the side of it. There should be a tiny switch move that to the unlocked position it should have a tiny picture of an unlocked padlock. That locks and write protects the card. If this did not work, please come back and let me know what happened when you tried it by clicking on reply to expert so we can continue. If it did work, please don’t forget to leave a positive rating - it is greatly appreciated.
