Is anything showing at all?
If you try to turn it on, do you see any leds showing?

thanks for getting back to me. No, nothing shows up. It is a canon 70D. When I charge the battery the light flashes to show it is charging, but on the camera, nothing when I put the battery in and turn it on... thanks!

ok, take out the battery and have the power switch to on for 1 minute then put back to off
Put the battery back in then try to turn it on.

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted sorry.

argggh what a shame! One spends so much money on a camera i would have hoped it would have lasted. I do have the warranty someplace so will have to dig it up. thanks so much. Gretchen
