Hi there and welcome
Can you do the following please
Turn off the printer using the ON/OFF button.
2. Press and hold the STOP button and then after 2 seconds press and hold the ON/OFF button(Don't release stop button).
3. Now release the STOP button and press it again (2 rapid taps). (Don't release ON / OFF button)
4. Now release all the buttons and wait until you see the word "idle" displayed on the printer's LCD.
5. Press the STOP button 5 times and then two times quickly the ON/OFF button. Then restart the printer.
Tell me if it then functions please.

Can you attempt the following please
By pressing Menu-Copy-Scan-Copy-Copy
Select[INK COUNT].
Press the [OK] key.
Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.
Let me know if it then prints please

I have tryed all your repairs but they have not worked. It looks as if it is a

bin job. I do not want to sign up for membership.

ok, if it is still failing then yes Ray it is a hardware fault on the printer, as we have ruled out all other causes.
I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the printer to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
If you do not sign up for membership (you would need to undertake that process) then you are not signed up for it.
