Hello my name is***** look forward to assisting and am very sorry to hear that you are having this problem. What version of windows or mac is on the computer?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

windows 8.1

Thank you, ***** ***** still have the CD that came with it? The driver should be on that CD but is not always installed automatically.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

No I don't have a CD

Move the mouse to the bottom right corner.
In the pane that open click on search.

Type in device manager and then click on it.
Look for anything that says either Olympus or unknown device.

Right click on it and click on update driver.
If you we are lucky windows will be able to locate the driver.

If this did not work, please come back and let me know what happened when you tried it by clicking on reply to expert so we can continue.

Done that but no Olympus or unknown driver only system drivers or software drivers

It would not says unknown driver, it shoudl say unknown device. You would need to expand to see them. It would normally be under input devices.
