CANON DM-XM2 3CCD PRO CAMCORDER The display is very faded

This answer was rated:

The display is very faded and although everything appears to function the camera does not record or playback.

Hi there Ronnie and welcome

What exactly happens when you try to record or playback?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The camera sounds and looks as though the process is being executed but on playback no vision in display, on record the display stays very faded and nothing actually records.

Ok, I want to rule out that it is only the screen thats at fault.

If you try to play to content on an external device, eg: TV, do you see the recording there?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No Nothing appears

Thanks, ***** ***** is not just the LCD screen at fault

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted, which results in the multiple failures

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the camera to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.

I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.
