Good morning, I have a Canon MP 190 printer. When I try to print, I receive a message saying "The ink absorber is full - contact the service centre. Can you advise, please?

Hi. Welcome to justanswer.

Canon printers use small, spongy pads to absorb excess ink that accumulates while printing and cleaning the print heads. When these pads are saturated, the printer will notify you with an error message such as "Ink Absorber Full."

Try the manual Reset for Canon MP190 Printer first.

1.Enter the service mode SERVICE MODE – pressing buttons Menu, Copy, Scan, Copy, Copy
2.Choose TEST MODE.
4.Choose 3, EEPROM CLEAR
5.Select 0, INK COUNT
6.Press the Set button.
7.Click Stop / Reset button (return to item 3), and again press the ON / OFF

Your internet is not working properly so I am giving you the procedure here. When the printer is off, press and hold STOP/Reset (red) button. While still holding it, press and hold the Power button also. Now release the red button but keep on holding the power button. Press the red button two times (while the power button is still being held). Release the power button now. Check the status of the error
