JA: Are you able to connect using an ethernet cable?
Customer: I don’t have one at the moment but want to be able to use the WiFi
JA: Which lights are colored and/or blinking on your router?
Customer: None, I don’t think that’s the problem. I’m a novice and not sure if I’m doing something wrong

Sorry for the delay.

But as you've bought a second hand camera you've to reset the WiFi first

for that use the following steps-:

1.On camera go to Wi-Fi function > And then on the ‘Connection’ screen, select Exit. 

2.On ‘Exit wireless LAN function’ screen, select Ok.

3. Go to that ‘Info’ button to enter in general settings.

4.And now select ‘Clear Wi-Fi settings’. Click Ok.

Welcome to JA sorry to hear you have been having issues with your Canon 70D.

The camera has an integrated WIFI module to allow for pictures to be sent directly to printers, however it does not have a ethernet \ network cable to plug the camera physically into your home network.

Where you want to access the images without removing the memory card then you can use the USB port and plug the camera into your computer via a USB cable.
