Margaret, nasal bleeding is often caused by infections (bacterial or fungal), polyps/tumors, a foreign body or a systemic disease. On history alone it will be difficult to determine the exact underlyng cause. Wade will need a hands on examination by your family veterinarian. In the meantime, for the bleeding you can pick up in your local pharmacy neosynephrine and apply 1-2 drops in each nostril.
