How can I clear up fox mite she has lost her fur I've taken her to vet twice still has it
I am sorry to hear about Poppy's skin condition.

My name is Rebecca. I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help.

Have your vets done skin scrapings to confirm that her skin condition is caused by mites?

If she has fox mites, or sarcoptic mange, the treatment would be to use the topical product called Revolution on her, or else treat her with the prescription medication called ivermectin. Flea shampoo and other flea products do not kill mites.

Please let me know what else I can answer or help with.

Thank you for the great rating, and the bonus. Much appreciated.

the last visit to vet they said there were no mites on the scaping sorry my spelling is bad sorry but i can still see the little black dots on her skin thanks Julie

Little black dots do not mean she had mites. Mites are much too small to see with the naked eye!

The little black dots could be "blackheads", or pores that are clogged.

I would try a shampoo that flushes hair follicles ( like a shampoo containing benzoyl peroxide). If she is itchy, I would give fish oil and an antihistamine, like Benedryl 10 milligrams twice daily or Claritin ( but NOT Claritin D) 2.5 mg once daily.
