I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. You're necessarily constrained by how much you can do with such a profoundly ill dog but good hospice care involves the judicious use of narcotic analgesia. I can't find a reference for Noraxalin. Please clarify.
The narcotics tramadol, morphine, or buprenorphine should be considered for Sammy. All of these narcotics have some antitussive (anti-cough) effect as well as the expected analgesic effect.
