A dog we're caring for has a 'pouch' of skin on her neck.

Hi there, A dog we're caring for has a 'pouch' of skin on her neck.
I'll upload photos.
Do you think it's anything to be concerned about please?
FYI: She has lost some weight so it could be just excess skin I guess...
Thank you so much!

I also noticed that her companion dog was sniffing the pouch & I'm mindful that some dogs can reputedly smell cancer. (To be fair, Bonnie sniffs her ears & body too ;-) )

A second pic

Hi, Welcome to Just Answer. I'm Chris, a small animal Vet based in the UK. I am reviewing your question and will get back to you as soon as possible

Just to clarify, is this a soft mobile fold or skin or is there any lump or firmness under the area in the picture?

Hi Dr Chris, Thanks for your response. It is soft mobile fold or skin.

Hi Dr Chris, It's soft mobile fold or skin

Ok great, In which case I suspect this is just a normal skin fold :) However if it changes or grows then it would still be worth getting it checked out.
