My vet suspects my dog has a gastric ulcer due to metacalm

This answer was rated:

My vet suspects my dog has a gastric ulcer due to metacalm use for 5 weeks pre and post cruciate ligament repair. Will this cause him to refuse food? Normally has a great appetite, been started on omeprazole today but refusing this too. I’ve managed to give one dose so far. Apparently RCC is 37 all other bloods normal
Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Ford
Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Ford?
Customer: Don’t think so he was vomiting Saturday and Sunday but settled with an anti emetic.
Assistant: Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did Ford eat anything unusual?
Customer: No no change from his usual diet all my socks are in pairs
