Hello, you're through to Dr Linda, a UK based vet.

Hopefully I can help today.

Has the vet run any specific tests such as a blood test or skin swab?

Has she ever had a tick?

When did she start the medicine and which specific medicine is she on?

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
Hi
We left her with the vet, they do some ivf treatment, take blood and they give her some antihistamine. She never had tick.I don't know anything about the tipe of medicines.
Expert:  Dr L Simmon replied 11 days ago.
Is she at the vets now?
Perhaps you have an invoice that tells us which tests have been run and which medicine she is on; this is very important for me to know in order to help.
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
She still with them. We will pick her up around 2pm.

There are a few things that could be going on here which is why tests are so important; to ensure we get the right diagnosis and start the correct treatment.

Her skin rash and fever could be caused by e.g.

  • A bacterial infection

  • A viral infection

  • A tick borne disease

  • An auto immune disease

  • Etc

I would advise blood test, a skin swab and a urine analysis to start with.

Try to think of possible clues from before she was ill e.g. did she travel anywhere, was she in contact with any unwell pets, did she have a tick?

After you see the vet, you are welcome to check back in so we can discuss what has been done and what they think she may have.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any further questions,

Take care,

Linda.
