JA: I'll do all I can to help. Can you tell me a little more about the puppy's situation? How long has this been a concern?
Customer: I gave her it with her evening meal
JA: When did the puppy last see a vet? Is she taking any medications?
Customer: She saw a vet on Thursday to have her 1st vaccines. No medication
JA: And what's the puppy's name and age?
Customer: She is 8 weeks, called Coco
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know?
Customer: No
Hello, you are through to Dr Linda, a UK based vet. What mg strength was the Panacur?
What does the puppy weigh?
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
It is 10% oral for a small animal and she weighs approx 1.50kg
Thank you, ***** ***** just checking for you now.
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
It says 100mg Fenbendazole per ml
Thank you , I know the one.
Luckily this wormer is a very safe wormer and we would not expect toxicity at the dose given.
Monitor closely for any signs such as vomiting or lethargy but the puppy should be absolutely fine.

Ah thank goodness. I will monitor her throughout the night. She did seem to be panting more, heart going faster but you have reassured me. Thank you
As I say, it is a very safe medicine and we wouldn't expect an issue at the dose she had. Fingers crossed she has a restful night.
