Hello, you are through to Dr Linda, a UK based vet.I'm sorry to hear this.Unfortunately tea bags (assume it was a caffeinated variety) can be highly toxic.
Different tea bags contains different concentrations of caffeine.A vet visit is needed asap.They will examine him and may induce vomiting as well as providing supportive care such as fluids. The sooner treatment is started, the better.
Possible signs can include a raising heart rate, high blood pressure, restlessness and vomiting.We would want to assess these things.His larger size is in his favour and he may only suffer mild signs of toxicity but it is important he is assessed, especially as he is an older boy.
