My dog jumped off bed and hurt her leg can walk on it but if lyes to long swirls in pain when gets up
JA: I'll do all I can to help. When did the dog's leg start hurting?
Customer: on Friday when she jumped of the bed sometimes walks ok sometimes painful went off her food on Saturday but ate yesterday I don’t know if doing right give her scrambled egg when not wanting her own food
JA: When did the dog last see a vet? Is she taking any medications?
Customer: I have her one paracetamol but not sure doing right could you give me some advice on meds my pdsa emergency only still
JA: And what's the dog's name and age?
Customer: name Bella and she’s 2 yrs 9 moths french bull dog

I'm sorry to hear Bella has this issue and appreciate you must be worried about her.What mg concentration was the paracetamol?Is she eating the egg?Has her limp improved since you've been resting her?

The paracetamol is 500 mg she isent limping just when she’s laid a while she yelps when she first gets up yes she just ate all her egg and ate some chicken last night with her dry food she can’t get on settee is it ok to give her paracetamol

If she is small, this wouldn't be safe to split as an overdose would be too likely.

She’s guitar small in hieght but musely not sure weight if I split them would that help if y

If, for example, she weighs 5kg she would need 50mg. This is 1/10th (one tenth) of a 500mg tablet. As this would be impossible to split so small, it isn't safe to give such a high dose tablet to such a small dog. We risk doing far more harm than good.

No, there aren't any other safe options.If your regular vet won't see her, please contact another local vet who will be able to provide the pain relief she needs.
