Customer Question

Hi, my dog has a history of back (disc) problems but he’s been fine for the last 5 years. But recently he’s been showing signs of discomfort again and today I can see he’s in pain. I’d like to get him some rimadyl, which is what he was prescribed last time. Are you able to prescribe this medication?
JA: Hi there. I'll do all I can to help. Where does the dog seem to hurt?
Customer: Its his back
JA: What's the dog's name and age?
Customer: Marcello. He’s 12 years old, a Yorkie chihuahua mix. He weighs 5.8 kg
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know about Marcello?
Customer: He has an enlarged heart and is currently taking Cardisure

Hello! My name is***** will be the expert to assist you today with your vet-related questions.

Here at Just Answer we can only provide Veterinary Advice, due to the RCVS law on prescription-only medication. Marcello would need to be examined first before he can have some more Rymadil unfortunately. The best way to get that arranged is if you give your local vet a call.

Do you have their number?

Why didn’t the assistant tell me that before I paid?

I apologise for that. The assistants are not medically trained, unfortunately.

If you are unhappy with the outcome, please contact customer support and they'd be more than happy to assist you further.
