Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is Steve and I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. I will try and answer your question accurately and precisely so that we can get you on your way.

Now..are you transferring books form the computer to the Kindle using the USB cable?

If so, is there a reason that teh Kindle is not connected to WiFi? Do you have a WiFi connection?

Please let me know so that we can continue.

Thank you for your prompt attention. I must apologise for bothering you

but I am happy to say that my computer and kindle are working now - I think it had to do with a password on my router. For some reason

I was asked for the password from the router, and when I found it

I keyed it in and suddenly my kindle was full of books that had been

instantly transferred. I am sorry to waste your time, and hope that I

can get a portion of the £21 back - please take out what you think

is a fair price for your time.
