How to replace the power supply in a casio ctk-240 no the adaptor
Hello, my name is Rusty. This may be a little more tricky than replacing a power supply. Did you use a 12v supply? Let's open it up and take a look. Unplug it, and hold a key for 10 seconds to drain any residual power.
The screws to remove are around the edges on the bottom. Some may be hidden under access panels, so if it doesn't slide apart when you remove the screws, look for the access panels.
There will be plugs that go to different components. Mark each plug, some may look the same. You want to make sure you plug them into the correct spot.
Remove the mounting screws, and remove the old power supply. See if there is a part number on the pcb. Let me know if you have any questions.
