The high hat sound is stuck in open position and won't change sound when the pedal is used. Can you help please?
Hello, my name is Rusty. Since it's stuck in the open position, that means that the pedal isn't making contact. Since they sit on the floor, grime can build up, preventing them to connect. You'll need to take apart the pedal and get to the contacts. Clean them up with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab, or something similar. You'll want to give it a good cleaning. When you get the contacts clean, it should work like new. Let me know if you have any trouble.
