I want to change to a Yamaha Portatone PSR-EW400 Digital

Customer Question

I want to change to a Yamaha Portatone PSR-EW400 Digital Piano, but my present keyboard: Roland GW connects directly to my Vocalist Live Pro by a five pin midi cable. The Vocalist Live Pro has a usb out socket but no usb in socket. How would I connect the two please?

Hello, my name is Rusty. There isn't a way to connect those. That is a studio keyboard. You will need to choose a similar model that has the midi in/out for live performances. Otherwise, you're limited to using effects on a computer.
