i have broken lcd screen om my galaxy s3 cannot get any numbers or photos.can the lcd screen be replaced and how much will it cost.

Yes, this can be done. There are different parts to the screen. There is the glass on top, and then underneath that there is the Super AMOLED screen with the "digitizer" sandwitched in between the two. If your display itself is broken, the easiest way to repair is to replace the entire digitizer, which comes as a single assembly with the glass and allows you to simply remove the old assembly with screws for replacement. You can try to replace just the broken part (screen, digitizer, or glass), but it is much more difficult because the digitizer layer must be bonded to the screen, etc. So my recommendation would be to replace the digitizer assembly.

There are videos that show you how to do this if you want to do it yourself. It's a pretty easy replacement if you do the entire part. There are also repair services which will do the repair at a flat rate.
