Technics KN600 upgraded to KN6500. Plays well when first switched

Customer Question

Technics KN600 upgraded to KN6500. Plays well when first switched on, then after a while the sound becomes distorted

Have tried the usual recommended remedies of restart, reinstall etc., but nothing seems to sort the problem

Do you have any idea of what is causing the distortion

Thank you for using Just Answer my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will help with your question.

I am afraid but I think the keyboard will need to be sent away for repair. The fault is likely to be one of the amplifier boards within the keyboard or the speakers.

Do you have distortion if you listen through headphones?

If you don't get distortion when listening through headphones it is the speakers that are faulty and they will need to be replaced.
