hi,i have a Samsung e2530 that is locked to the Tesco network,however it will not receive a signal when I am at home so I wish to unlock it and put my sim card in from my old nokia phone with uses the Vodafone network.I have phoned Tesco and they have given me the unlock codes but when I enter them into my phone it does nothing and the screen just reads invalid sim card.

Hi, my name isXXXXX will assist you with your Samsung e2530. Please follow these steps>

1. Switch handset off.

2. Insert the Vodafone SIM.

3. Power up phone.

4. Enter your SIM or PIN lock code (if they have been set on the phone). Note: This is not the same as the unlock code.

5. Phone will display “Network Locked” and ask for a password.

6. Enter unlock code received from Tesco.

7. Phone should now be unlocked.
