Dear Sirs Following a recent bout of conjunctivitis I found t necessary to turn down the brightness on my Nexus 7,unfortunately it was turned down too far and now I am unable toview anything, is there anyway this can be recovered? Thanks and regards XXXXX XXXXX

Were you able to complete the Factory Reset correctly?

Makre sure you did it this way please

Turn your device off.

With the device off, press and hold the Power key, then press and hold the Volume Down key. Scroll down twice to select Recovery.
Select with the power key.

You'll see the Android pop up, then while holding down Power, press Volume Up.

Use the volume keys to scroll to "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" and press Power to select it.

Scroll down to "Yes - Erase All User Data" and press Power to select it.
Your Hard Reset is now complete.

This will reset the brightness to default, so you can see the screen again.

Despite repeated attempts I can still not get the brightness back on line.

I followed your instructions, but when the Android appeared it showed the message ''NO COMMAND''

Do you have any further thoughts on this?
