Customer Question

I have a Sony 32LCD TV it has developed a fault that shows up on the screen as thin red lines as if somebody is drawing in a pen and ink style. The lines are only visible on dark colours.

Hello, my name is Shahid, I'll be happy to assist you.
Please allow me to ask you a few questions to diagnose the problem.

- Can you please get the model number written on back of TV?
- How long you have had this TV and when did this problem happen?
- Do these lines clear up after some time?
- Are these vertical or horizontal?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Model number KDL32S2030

TV purchased Jan 2007 Problem started evening Wednesday 18th December

Lines remained visible for over 2hrs that evening and since

Lines are irregular (almost like scribble) and seem to move with the dark background they are on.

Thanks George for the reply.

- Please press Menu button on TV or its remote and check, are these lines appear over or behind the menu graphics?
- Are these lines vertical or horizontal?
